i first got panic attacks when i would smoke pot but they were short and pretty mild i first started get them the day after drinking a few years ago and they are intense and long and since im broke as a joke and have no insurense i basicaly have to ride them out, now i know most people say well if there so bad quit drinking, im sure most of you younger people know its hard not to drink im 22 and thats pretty much all we do for fun and im a cubs fan so i have to drink. i guess all im saying is that i find it some what comforting knowing im not alone with this because trying to explain a panic attack to someone whos never had one is hard to do, they just dont really understand so if anyone reads this and knows any info on stopping or at least easing them it will be greatly appreciated. so good luck to all i wish everyone well, its time to stop letting these things run are lives.......Brian

Panic attacks have to do with the involuntary release of adrenaline (epinephrine) in response to a perceived threat. Sustained physical exercise can bring your fright or fight response to full cycle by "burning off" the adrenaline. I suggest you work out at a gym 4 or 5 times a week. This will not cure your panic attack, but will greatly ease the symptoms.
