Ladies, sounds like we're all noticing the same thing, at a similar stage of life. I noticed this beginning a year ago. Six months ago there was a significant increase in the amount of bleached tissue, and I also noticed a change in the way the tissue draped. I went to the doctor about it. I'd researched a problem that is characterized by severe irritation, and that was not my problem. Doctor and I agreed it was a benign mystery. Two months ago I had a baaad month and realized perimenopause was in full swing and needed some attention. I started taking some supplements, not too much (Flaxseed oil and evening Primrose Oil morning and night, and Vitamin B, (specially B6) with a multivitamin) but mostly, decided I was going to eat better. No more existing on crackers and cheese and red wine. In my reading I came across a reference to fading tissues in perimenopause and felt reassured. That was 5 weeks ago, and a week ago I was delighted to notice I'm rosy pink again. My skin looks younger the past two days, too. I've been eating food, not dishes. Cabbage, eggplant, stuff with onions and tomato sauce and yogurt, lamb tongues, lentil soup, hard boiled eggs, blueberries. Just food!
