hard to explain but i have dabbled with most any pain pill over the last 10 years, on and off. never had excruciating physical symptoms. physiological on the other hand is unbearable: unmotivated, cant sleep, major anxiety. i am 26 and started methadone 2-23-07 @ 30mg all the way down to 2 mg on 4-19-07 then 4-22-07 i took my last dose. i guess my main question is can i take vicodin now or will that prolong wd from methadone. i also have a few valiums for when i cant sleep. did not take anything other that methadone while in program but this last week since i quit has not been so well. mostly anxiety and cravings. since i quit 1 week ago i have taken 40-50mg of vicodin every third day so i dont get hooked back on them. again what affect does that have on my wd from methadone. i will finish by saying that if i could go back 2 months i would never have went to the clinic for the use of vicodin. can anyone help

well, its hard to say, re-sensitization of opiod receptors are different with methadone/buprenorphine (long acters) than short acting / half life opiods. thus, you may eventually have a vice habbit of sorts to kick, even every 3 days. in my experience, once you been there, got a habbit that is, you can get sick real fast, if i use 1 day i feel it the next day. then again im wd'ing from bupe right now
