Hi I had a midfoot fusion dec 10 I am in a cast and go back to the dr for X-rays and a new cast my question is the incision on top of my foot is very sore where I feel the cast is hitting it did anyone else experience this. Thank you

I hope that your appointment is tomorrow. If not, see if you can get in as soon as possible. If your foot is very sore, you may have an open area in your skin that is infected and needs to be treated. It is not safe to have your foot getting infected and compromising the healing of your foot. The infection can spread and make you sick as well. Make sure you get yourself in to be seen; they may go ahead and take the old cast off and put a new one on anyway. I wish you good luck with it!
