If you've experienced an injury to the frenulum (the thin membrane connecting the underside of your tongue to the floor of your mouth) and it has torn, it's possible that it may heal on its own, as the mouth generally has a good blood supply and can heal relatively quickly. However, the healing process can vary from person to person, and the extent of the injury will also play a role.

Here are a few suggestions you could consider:

  1. Rinse with saltwater: Gently rinsing your mouth with warm saltwater can help keep the area clean and promote healing. Dissolve half a teaspoon of salt in a cup of warm water, then swish the solution around your mouth for about 30 seconds before spitting it out.

  2. Maintain oral hygiene: Continue to brush your teeth and maintain good oral hygiene, being cautious around the injured area.

  3. Avoid irritating the area: Try to avoid irritating the torn frenulum further by refraining from eating rough or spicy foods, and be mindful when speaking or moving your tongue.

Hope that will heal soon!
