I started using the Depo birth control for the first time on Around the end of December 08'. My doctor handed me a card with my next shot date on it. which was February 25th 09'.

It is now March 16th, and I completley forgot about my shot date. I have just been so swamped with work that the 3 months flew by.

I've been having regular un proctected sex the entire time with my partner.
I want to go get the shot ASAP now, but will it do anything to my body if im i really am pregnant??

I read that women who want to become pregnant after using Depo usually have to wait at least 3-6 months before they get pregnant because its SO effective.

Should i go get the Depo? How long do i need to wait before i can take a pregnancy test, because im only about 20 days late for my due shot.

Please help
