I had my period on June 16, and a week or so later I started spotting, it was a brownish color. I went to the Dr. on July6 because it was scaring me, they took a pregnancy test, that was negative, and they did a vaginal ultrasound. They didnt find anything wrong with me. I had unprotected sex in June and beginning of July. I did miss my period on July 16th, and had unprotected sex after that. On July 28th I took a pregnancy test and it was negative again. I waited another week and took one on the 7th and that one was positive. I'm trying to figure out when I could have conceived. If it was before or possibly after my missed period in July. Please Help!!!!!

Hello! I would say that the dates of unprotected sex at the end of June would have more of a chance of making you pregnant! Most women ovulate about 14 days after their 1st date of their period! So in your case that would be the end of June! Thus you not getting a period on July 16th! It could have also been really early in July - because every woman can ovulate at different times, thus you having a negative test on july 28th - it might have been too early! Pinpointing the exact day of conception is VERY hard! How far along does the doctor say you are - with the stomach measurement and the ultrasound?
