I'm looking for anything that could give me some insight. To start off I'm only 18 and this is the first time anything like this has happened. I've had irregular periods pretty much since I started around 11yrs old.
This past weekend this all started. Saturday I thought I was just starting my period, Sunday morning I pass a clot that scares the hell out of me cause it's never been that big or anything like that. So all day everytime I sit or lay down and get back up I have to make a run to the bathroom cause of clots. I was in the bathroom every 10-15minutes because of them. Monday I stay home ALL day and just clots ALL DAY! Every 5-15 minutes. SO. . I was always told iron is the best thing when you've had a lot of blood loss. So I took 1 65mg iron pill along with a BC (birth control) pill. Nothing really, so Tuesday I did the same thing, but ended up really naseuas and threw up. All through out all this I've been dizzy, light-headed, nauseuas.
To add to all this I've lost coloring in the lips and my face, the lips have been white pretty much all through out. And my heart rate has been high. For once this morning in about 2 days it was in the 80's. . Other than that the lowest it's gotten is 101. Which doesn't help.
Yesterday there was little to no blood. Today there's blood, not heavy but there. And my head is killing me, right from the start of waking up my head started pounding.
So that pretty much sums up all the problems I've been having and I'm waiting to go see the doctor but seeing how it's Christmas. . . No luck and people at the ER said it would just be a waste unless I'm having heart paplitations and actually passing out.
Anemia keeps coming up when I talk to people along with "Are you pregnant?" lol so any insight would be awesome. Because I'm so lost and kind of freaked out by all this. :'(

do u feel sick to ur stomach shortly after taking the iron pill? That might be a factor plus the loss of blood and u r probably freaking urself out.
