Semen With Gel Like Substance

I am 24 years old and i smoke super high quality hash all day, every day. I have about 85% gel and 15% liquid. One year ago, when i didnt smoke that heavily, it wasnt as bad.. Maybe there is a connection, but in my case - increasing hash smoking means decreasing exercise, normal food, fresh air etc.. I am guessing its a combination of several "unhealthy issues"..

Just to add to your warning. I had this. I still do. I finally went to a urologist because if abdominal pain my general practitioner could not figure out and urgency in ironation plus the jelly like substance. He found a growth on my prostate.
I am 32. He stated the growth needed to be removed which is a risk at my age they don't like to take.. But they also explained that the jelly like cum, smell and color of urine were all indication of long term infection caused by the tumor. And pressure on my bladder. I have been on antibiotic treatments daily for 1 year leading to the surgery an the infection sometimes if less than others but keeps coming back. If you have this it is not normal. It could be a sign of something much worse and life threatening

The best advice if uncertain go and check with doctor. Maybe can be bacterial as somebod suggested.

What I read on interent is proetein build up if you don't masturbate but you have been doing it before a lot.

Hi im a 26 y/o male and i had these gel like substance in my semen too. I went to see a doctor who asked me if i had a change in diet. I told him that ive been getting ALOT more protein after i began working out. And voila! change in diet and an increase in protein affects your semen :) also he told me that smoking, stress and a low testostorone level coould causse these gel like "beans" i have a 13 month old girl we had no problems with std´s or anything :) i hope this helps :D

im 24 turning 25 and i also have the same thing going on. I have this jelly like sperm fluid after ejaculation. I thought it was something really that I should worry about but thanks to this discussion. I feel good now :) 

did you get an operation? were they able to remove the tumor? how's your sperm now, do u still have jelly like substance on it still? let me know. thanks a lot

I have not had the operation yet. I have just completed chemo and radiation. I will let you know once I have.

RUBBISH. Fear mongering nonsense. This gel like substance is perfectly natural. It usually happens to men who are just out of their teens. These gel-like lumps are a concentrated collection of protein. As a teen, men tend to masturbate quite a lot and your body gets used to producing high levels of semen, However, once you pass your teens and you don't masturbate as much, your body needs to adapt to the changes so until it does, you will get these high protein concentrate gel-like lumps in your semen. PERFECTLY NATURAL and it bares no relevance to sperm count.

Most Post I have noticed are theories but may be relevant.  Upon reviewing several posts, I've seen potential issues on where this might be coming from.  It might be that what has been damaged is a certain part in our testicles that is responsible in successfully producing these healthy white sperms. Unable to produce the correct recipe, it might be that this is junked and goes out together with the well produced ones on our semen.  So this may theoritically lead us to the fact that why we still are capable of producing babies.  STD cure/treatment or Antibiotics are just safety measures but I hope a doctor can really dig deaper into this.  I had this problem when I was in college.  Now, I am 28. I have 1 kid but the initial symptoms where like STD's but my semen did not have that foul odor.  First my semen was all green, like water but sticky.  Until the doctor gave me some antibiotics(forgot what it was) and in a weeks time, it went white but now with these yellow gel substance which I still have today. My left testicles that time where also very huge and abruptly went normal until it's now smaller than usual for some reason.  The left side of my balls feels like (until now) that the testicles inside it is really small like I only have these unknown masses around it.  Whereas my right ball, I can still feel my testicles.  There is also a slight cute pain whenever I put abrupt pressure on my left testicle. I also had these kidney like pains but all ultrasounds and urinalysis showed negative but my RBC's were highly above average that time. Anyway, after those medicines, my semen went normal again but still with those yellow gel-o's and the mass covered left testicle of mine. All of those posts are very identical.  If you dont masterbate, it looks like it clogs up those yellow jellies.  I fear that it may stop from urinating.  Hence, I dont stop masterbating.  So, why that analysis?  One stupid girl started all this as she did not know what was blow job at that time and instead she literally blew my d***!! After a few days, I began those symptoms I've mentioned above! I just hope some dedicated doctor could turn this back to normal again.  As seeing those posts, it discourages me that no dr is able to have an accurate cure about this.  Although seems harmless but seeing that this is not normal then its worth curing. If it is normal, we should not have gotten this when we were kids or if I never had that tragedy then definitely this would not have happened.
