It is a full cycle of the pills which is a month, do not have unprotected sex before then, even after you should probably use a spermacide or something, As well as making sure you are taking your pill close to the same time every day. I started setting my alarm early in the morning, taking my pill, and sleeping more. It makes it easy and precise. I have been on BC pil for about 2 years, My bf almost always ejaculates is me, and I've never been pregnant. It's kinda annoying about the BC pill though, I makes your body think it's pregnant..all the time....but It works pretty well. It keeps your body from releasing an egg in the first place. :-)
