I get a sharp pain that comes and goes on the right side of my belly button. I've had no medical problems before and in good shape for 54. The place were the pain comes from isn't sore or swollen. Does not hurt all the time , every few minutes. If I put some pressure on the spot the pain goes away. ???

If the pain has only been for a few days, it sounds like your appendix :/
My appendix was hurting on and off for two weeks before they realized it was about to explode and the only way to make the pain go away was to apply pressure to the location
