I am 37 yrs old and have just noticed that I have some small bumps that are under the skin and appear to be in a vein on the under side of the shaft of my penis. The bumps are not as noticeable till I am erect and then much more noticeable. There is no pain with them I have never had them before till just this past week. There is no redness or any signs of infection just the lumps. Just trying to figure out what they may be and a treatment. Thanks!

If they are small and white then they are nothing to worry about! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fordyce_spots

No that is not it. You can't see these bumps as far as color goes you just can feel them. They are also all in a row with the vein either beside it or in it as far as I can tell.

After a little more research I think it might be a lymph channel inflammation as it seems like it is right next to a vein and feels more like a cord with some small bumps. Not sure what the treatment is?

Hello!
Based on your description, it is possible that the bumps could be related to a few different conditions, including:
-
Penile Vein Thrombosis: This is a condition where a blood clot forms in a vein within the penis, which can lead to swelling and pain. It is possible for this condition to develop without any apparent cause, and it can occur in men of all ages.
-
Fordyce Spots: These are small, harmless, and painless bumps that can appear on the penis, scrotum, or other parts of the body. They are typically white or yellow in color, and they are caused by the overgrowth of oil glands.
-
Sebaceous Cysts: These are small, harmless bumps that can appear on the penis or scrotum. They are caused by the blockage of a hair follicle or oil gland, and they can be white or yellow in color.
It is important to consult a healthcare professional or a doctor to determine the cause of the bumps and to receive proper treatment, if necessary.
