small lump above adams apple

Hi every one I felt I had to post this because lots of people seem to have the same problem. I have had a lump in my throat for a while it feels like there is a small peace of food stuck in my throat just above the adams apple maybe the size of a peace of rice or pea I can not feel it on the out side but I sure feel it on the inside, this has caused me great discomfort when I would eat I started having panic attacks thinking it would get bigger or maybe it is cancer i had it checked at many doctors and they said they had no idea or it was due to a panic attack, but that was not the case the lump made me have the panic attack any way it took about a 2 years to go away right when I thought it was gone it came back. I after 4 years of dealing with this have finally figured out what it is. I suffered a serious back injury and I am sure it is due to a compressed disk (at least in my case) But I do believe it is defiantly due to an upper back problem so if u have the same problem have your back checked because I am sure this could be the problem.
