I am 26 and have recently got married. My husband and have been having sex for many years before we got married. For the first time since we have been married it hurts when we have sex. My husband is unable to enter me without hurting me. It is as though I have formed what you might call a loose "flat" of skin on the top part of my vagina. And this is what is causing me to get severer thrush, pain and inflammation every time I have sex.
I have always been a victim of Thrush and other Vaginal infections, and have seen many doctors. I have tried all the all the creams and pills that the doctors have proscribed and nothing works.
I don’t know what else to do anymore! Please can someone give me some answers?

Hi Jasmine: The first thing I thought of - before I read about your Yeast Infection - was that you had a yeast infection! When you have vaginitis, you have to be aware of the triggers for it! These include, sugars, white bread, yeast products, pops etc. etc. If you go to your local health food store, they can put you on a Candida Diet! It takes a LOT of work and rethinking about what you ingest! But I swear by this, it takes awhile but it is worth it! You obviously need some more help then what has been given. So give this a try and definitely increase intake of Probiotics or Acidopholus! Good luck and ehalth!

Hi Jasmin: Have you and your husband been tested for a STI or a STD?

I looked through several sites regarding recuring yeast infections/vaginits! And the above 2 seem to be the best for information! Since you have tried everything else - including the diet, the changing of cleansing products etc. Check these out ESPECIALLY the 2nd one! When I was punching in your information, it did mention several times regarding STI's so I was wondering about that!

Also, there are doctors out there - which I also agree with - that say that if your husband isn't treated for yeast he will give it back to you again and again - which to me makes logical sense. But other professionals do not believe that yeast is contagious like that! Perhaps your doctor could test your husband too!
