Sore erect nipples just stopped taking birth control

I'm 21 tees old and I've been off the pill for 5-6 weeks after being on the pill 7 years, but still no period! I've been experiencing sore boobs like yourself (still have for about 2weeks nw) and I did have cramps like a period pain for a few days. I havent been to the doctor yet but I've taken a few tests but all negative! I don't know wheather its because of the pill or I could be pregnant?! Very confusing!

This is really crazy because I am experiencing the same thing. I was take Mononessa and I have been off for a month now and I have been experiencing sore breat and hard pain filled nipples. How long will this last:-)

hey i just got off birth control in september. I HAVENT HAD MY PERIOD SINCE... its December 15. i usually get it at the beginning of every month..give or take a few days. I was on birth control on and off for the past 5 years. This is the first time i've taken LO ESTRIN or low estrogen birth control pills for a year or whatever. Before birth control I did always have irregular periods but not 3 months in between.
I started getting dark discharge and now that's gone away and now i have sore nipples.
Did your period ever regulate itself eventually after these symptoms? I dont know what's going on with my body, I hope I'm not pregnant..

i'm experiencing the same problem too. just nipples eract and VERY sensative. i was so afraid i was pregnant but apparently after reading i also just got off YAZ and experience the same thing. so i think its the hormonal changes happening

Hi, I'm in the same boat. I have noticed that all of us that are on Yasmin are feeling this. I'm 32 and have been on the pill over 10 years. I got my period and then got off the pill, it has only been two weeks and my nipples and breast are tender. I had sex before O got off the pill and before my last period so there has been no sex uring and sense my period. I took a preg test and it was negative. I'm freakig out too so researching to see if this is normal.

I suffered all the symptoms above including fatigue and nausea. breast tenderness and nipple hardness was horrible the 1st 2 weeks. i was off yaz for the first time after 1.5 years. my period came end of the month as usual. so it does not mean u are pregnant. hope this answer is assuring to those seeking for it.

I stopped taking my pill halfway throught my pack and in a week i have been having pregnancy symptoms such as fatigue,headaches,flu like,cramping white disharge,tender nipples,nausea sleepless nights And cant stand coffee Does this mean i am pregnant? I took a test and it came out negative Please help

Hi all, it looks like i'm having the same problem as the majority of you. Just stopped taking yaz last month, and for the past two weeks my nipples have been hard and sore. Was a little bit worried that I could possibly be pregnant, but the last time I had sex was while I was on my break during my last pack of pills and then I got my period shortly after. Any thoughts? If this problem continues into this week I'm going to the doctor.

My symptoms = nipples sore. Nothing else. Stopped BC about 30 days ago. Still no period. Nipples didn't become sore until about 10 days ago (a couple weeks after stopping the pill.)

2 pregnancy tests have given negative results, so I'm assuming this is related to hormonal changes from coming off 10 years on the pill. Frustrating though. I'm trying to change my diet a bit (less soy and phytoestrogens) to see if I can get my period to show up. I'd really like to get my cycle back to normal, as it was prior to going on the pill.

I stopped the pill about a week 1/2 ago due no refills in time to keep going. I have has protected sex with condom once. Prior or last week my lower left abdomen began hurting which I am assuming is due to my ovary changing from adjustment in hormones now this week as of this morning my nipples are sensitive, not the surrounding breast. Was on the pill about 4 yrs. with one or two breaks in between for the same reason.

I missed 3 pills in a row, and started break through bleeding on the third day. My husband and I decided to start trying for another baby, but I'm not sure how long it will take for me to ovulate. It's been 3 weeks now but no positive tests. But my nipples and breasts hurt bad, and now I'm starting to think it's just from the BC hormone leaving my body. Also had some cramping a few days ago but no period yet. I've never cramped when ovulating before but I've heard that's what it could be.
