I'm having the same issue right now to the T! Can I ask what became of it? I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to find out if I'm pregnant.

I'm having the same issue but have had my tunes tied and an ablasion
Hoping it's a hormonal thing from coming off the pull

Hi,
I think its quite normal. Ive stopped the pills 3 weeks ago, while my husband was away. Had no sex for over 5 weeks, my nipples are still extremely sore and very sensitive to touch (even while wearing a bra). Im 333% sure im not pregnant. This is one effect i feel from getting off the pill as well

Yes! I'm the same way. I got off the pill (sprintec) almost two weeks ago. My breast feel very tender could be from getting off the pills or I might be pregnant. Good luck to us!

Hi. I am just looking for info on the same thing you asked about. I was on the same contraception as you and i am experiencing the nipple issue just a month into being off of it. I just wondered if your symptoms were the result of a pregnancy or just hormone withdrawal?

Yeah I just got off the pill (Levolin) after being on the pill foe 5 years and I am experiencing the same thing! I constantly have tender erect nipples. Really sore if touched.

I also stopped taking birth control about 3 weeks ago and had a copper IUD inserted the same day. My nipples are so sore which is something I’ve never experienced. I have had sex, but I know my IUD is still in place so for many of you worried I’m assuming it’s hormonal. I also am experiencing some cramping and irregular bleeding. Hope this helps!

Hi,
I am also 22yo, came off the pill 2.5months ago after 7 years. Still no period. Very very tender and erect nipples all the time at the moment. Bad skin. Other than that I’m slowly starting to feel like I’m back to my ‘normal’ ‘non-pill’ self. Have also taken 2 pregnancy tests which were both negative so I’m thinking it can’t be a coincidence that we’re all experiencing the same thing!

Hello girls,
I had been on Yaz for over 26 years and finally decided to stop due to some health problems. I never knew it but after 40 years old it´s actually dangerous to take high levels of Estrogen and I developed a cyst on my liver that was feeding off the Estrogen. They only discovered the cyst after 4 full months of constant problems, yeast infections without end, urinary tract infections and a mysterious, constant pain on my lower left side of the pelvis. Three hospitals and 20 some exams later the doctors found the cyst. Birth control bye bye.
I´ve been off the pill since December 23rd 2020. One week later the mysterious pain, UTI and yeast infections all stopped. I did experience headaches two weeks after stopping the pill (at one point I thought I might have had COVID) and burning nipples that stayed erect and were extremely sore for about 8 days. That finally subsided too. The upside is I feel like I have more energy, and I´m not as moody or irritated as I was on the pill. I am able to keep my weight down compared to when I was on the pill and couldn´t shed those extra 5 pounds even after running 5 kilometers 4 times a week. I feel like I have less water retention now and am less bloated. I know that the birth control pill is important but it robbed me of being natural and understanding how my body physically and emotionally really works.
My husband recently got a vasectomy, we don´t have nor want kids so I love him for doingt that for me. Now we can be natural, enjoy our lives, travel and not worry about an unwanted pregnancy.
One more thing: Girls, please... as an older woman I really really want to stress how important it is to use condoms during sex. Please don´t have unprotected sex unless you get married. Even if you don´t get pregnant, you still have to worry about a host of STDS and infections which are just a big headache to take care of. Love yourselves first. Put yourselves first. No glove. No love.

I am trying for a baby. I have stopped taking my contraceptive pill 6 months ago. I have done 2 pregnancy tests, and they are negative, but I have leaking nipples. Why is this? Help!
