Hello. Wonderful site this is. My question is, I have recently had sex with a new partner and 7 days later I had a sore. It is very near the base on top of the penis. I was frantically thinking I have caught genital herpes but now I don't know. It started out probably 5-6 days after as an itch in the area of the sore. Day 7, I finally looked down there but had scratched it first. It was about 1mm wide at first. It started bleeding after being scratched (on accident). I don't know if it had yellow puss or not. It scabbed over the next day, mostly red with a very slight yellowing around the edges. I have since been very stressed out about it. Today, when I look at it 10 days later, it appears mostly flesh colored with just a slight pinkish look. When I stretch the skin, it appears shiny and like a bump surrounding a dimple in the middle or hair follicle. Yesterday, I became frustrated and squeezed it in an attempt to pop it. I got an ever so slight amount of white puss from it. It wasn't runny and looked something like a blackhead without the black. I have talked to the woman I was with and she says she nor her ex-husband of 6 years have never had any symptoms of that nature. I want to believe so bad this is just an infected follicle but I just don't know. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
