Ok so i sit in a computer chair for 5-8hrs per day and this lump on the left side of my tailbone would get sore then disappear for a month then come back over and over again. But this time i was in a car for 11 hrs in 2 days and the thing really swelled this time and hurt so bad i could not sit. then i was laying on my stomach and my dog (65lb pitbull) wanted something on the other side of me and stomped on the lump perfectly and i believe he burst it? now it is dark purple where it is hard and red around that area. Also now it itches. about 20 mins after he did that it felt much better. hardly any pain. But now it is starting to get bigger and hard again so i'm getting worried.

I have a snowboarding trip planned for the 22nd of this month. Please let me know if i need surgery what the recovery time will be. thanks
