I don't usually masturbate, and when I do on the rare occasion I like to "rub" rather than penetrate.. The last time that I did masturbate I was sore, I believed it was only because it was the first time I had an orgasm in months. It had been 4 days and the soreness isn't gone, and has grown into a cyst on my left labia.. I'm extremely concerned because it is constantly uncomfortable and has turned into a cyst (this scared me terribly). I'm not sure what is going on but I haven't had genital contact for 10 months so I don't believe it could be an STD, or could it?
P.S. am also a very shy person and I don't think I could handle going to the doctors over something like this, I don't think my social anxiety would allow me to do anything that exposing.
