i had spinal fusion surgery on level c5-6 and c6-7 on feb 28th of this year and im 100 times worse than before the surgery....ive been thru pt or all i could handle anyway...i have a bone growth stimulator which i use 30 min everyday...im on twice as many pain meds now...im suffering so bad from pain to the point i wish i would have went against my dr and not had the surgery....i went back yesterday for my 2nd post op app hoping for some kind of good news just to be let down by being told that i have a screw coming loose and have to all of the hardware replaced on the 24th of this month...now im really aggravated...i seriously cant handle much more pain....anyway my question is....my dr said he did the origanal surgery in like an hour....isnt that kind of fast for this type surgery? i just dont feel like he took the time that he should haave to do my surgery right and put in a screw that was too small or something...anyway does anyone know how long this type of surgery usually takes int the operating room minus the recovery time? i just dont feel like an hour is long enogh...now hes saying it will only take like 15 minutes to do the hardware replacement surgery....is it just me or does that seem kind of fast too...i ask my dr this question and he told me no that it would be fine....but i desperate for some kind of answer on the time in the actual operating room...could someone please help me get the answer i am looking for....and another question is...i know screws can come lose but i feel like mine came lose way too soon i meam its only been 2 and a half months since my surgery....im desperate here so any kind of responce is welcome and very appreciated....
