Stabbing Pain In Head If I Laugh

I experienced stabbing pain in the head when I laugh. When it happens my mom starts massaging my head a scalp and gently laying hot towels across my forehead. I’ve been from doctor to doctor, each one prescribing this or that pill and every new pill brought plenty of hope, but little relief. Someone said that it is because I am too stressed.

Scholtes, I have a similar sounding problem, still undiagnosed. About 20 years ago I had an eye infection (called "blephoritis", lol) from poor contact lens hygiene, according to the opthalmologist. Some time after that, I began having severe, stabbing, pain behind both eyes when I experienced the tearing reflex, such as when laughing energetically (almost always) or sneezing. (Almost unbearable! Incredible.) Usually happens only the first time I have teared and laughed, so that I may continue without pain. Then I can enjoy laughing. Recently, opthalmologist suggested I see a neurologist. From research, I have found no named issue, but have come across the ideas of a slight malformation of the skull, or infection, or a specific disease which I can not remember.

By the way, from personal and familial experience, I have learned that one of the bacteria - Borelia bergdefori - responsible for Lyme/Lyme-like diseases, is spiral shaped and adept at escaping the bloodstream. It is fond of infecting the nervous system and causing numerous, VERY unpleasant - even life-threatening symptoms. I mention this because I still wonder how/why I have the pain I have. Perhaps this condition is caused by some sort of neurological damage/legion from that initial infection, or from exposure to prescription chemicals, or others in our increasingly polluted diet and environment.
