I have been taking Norco and Morphine ER for 5 years...I made the call today to start taking suboxone and start my treatment to get off these drugs..I go on Wednesday...I ran out of my meds on Friday, the 18th, and on Sunday, the 20th, my withdrawals were awful so I knew someone who had Suboxone and I took a half of tablet..felt much better but now, when I go and see my doctor on Wednesday, will they test for suboxone? Could I have messed up my chance for treatment by doing this? I think I should tell him about it when I see him, but I am scared he will not trust me and not want to set me up with the suboxone now...any thoughts?? Thanks!

Thank you for that word of encouragement:) I am very hopeful of the treatment and I am looking forward to getting back to the wife, mother and woman I was 5 years ago before I started all of this crazy pill madness...I keep asking myself, how did I get to this point and I have been really struggling with the emotions of it all...I was just worried that the doctor would think I was crazy for taking it before I was prescribed it but then again, it's crazy to take 8 Norco every 4 hours and the morphine with it every 8 hours...i will let you know what happens...thanks again, I appreciate it...

You really need to tell him cause I am on it and they need to know all the facts cause then they can dose right or you will get the wrong amount and could still need more or less y doctor is very understanding and laid back be honest with yours so everything works out right make sure you go at your own pace
