When I bend to the LEFT, I get a pretty bad pain just below my left breast, sort of in the region of my left rib and my spleen. I stand up straight, and place my hand on the spot of the pain sne press gently. It might take a few seconds, but then I can FEEL a downward movement in my abdomen, as if some internal body part is sliding back in place.
I have had a MRI. (no cancer). I have just had the test where they put a line down your throat and actually look into the bowel (also no cancer, but some ulcer).
So far no ne has been able to explain the feeling that some part inside my abdomen actually MOVES whn I press on it. I can actually SEE my hand moving downward it I look into the mirror when pressing on my abdomen.
What can this possibly be.
I DO have a splenic aneurysm, that has been diagnosed many years ago, I am tested every year and it is stable.

Hi.
The sensation you're describing of something moving when you press on your abdomen is unusual and may warrant further investigation. While I can't provide a definitive diagnosis, here are a few possibilities that might be considered:
-
Muscle or Ligament Strain: It's possible that the pain and sensation you're experiencing when bending to the left could be related to a muscle or ligament strain in the area. Such strains can sometimes cause pain that feels like it's moving or shifting.
-
Gastrointestinal Issues: Given that you mentioned having an ulcer, gastrointestinal issues could contribute to the discomfort you're feeling. Conditions like gastritis or inflammation in the digestive tract could potentially cause referred pain or sensations in the chest and upper abdomen.
-
Splenic Aneurysm: While you mentioned your splenic aneurysm is stable, it's essential to continue monitoring it regularly with your healthcare provider. Changes in the size or condition of the aneurysm could potentially lead to symptoms.
-
Hernia: A hernia occurs when an organ or tissue pushes through a weak spot in the abdominal wall. Depending on its location, a hernia could cause discomfort and a sensation of movement when pressure is applied.
-
Other Abdominal Conditions: There are various abdominal conditions that can cause discomfort or strange sensations, including issues with the spleen, liver, kidneys, or nearby structures. Your MRI and other tests may have ruled out certain conditions, but a healthcare provider may need to investigate further.
Hope you will resolve your issue soon.
