Hello! I'm a 13 year old girl, 4'11, and weigh 127 pounds. Lately I've been so stressed about gaining my weight back and not having the energy to start excercising again. I use to be 121. It sucks. Everyday I somehow always think negative thoughts about myself. I've talked to my mom and family about it, and they always say nothing is wrong with my weight, and that my body goes through changes in life so whatever I'm experincing is normal. Though, still yet, I still feel horrible. here's even been a couple of times where I would stick my finger down my throat, or go on crash diets, just so I can shed pounds fast. Please help before things get worse!

Well well, I hear that you are at that age where we grow like Jack the Bean Stalk, if we eat nutritiously, which sounds like mom helps you to do just fine. You will gain some weight because your bones, and organs, and height are changing. This all causes weight gain. Also, if you aren't already then soon you will begin your period. That too, before it begins will cause your female parts to prepare for it. There is nothing to do except eat wisely, with nutrition in mind and get in every day at least 20 minutes of some sweaty aerobic type of exercise.School has PE class, just give it your ALL, and sweat it out daily. You'll get a higher PE grade possibly and tone up too. Good Luck, you'll probably grow to be a tall girl one day.
