Would a spinal tap show a stroke?

I had many LP's for my brain heamorage. which helped the headaches. before i was discharged i had a stroke. nothing to do with an LP it was to do with my blood vessels having a spasm not enough blood. so i have asprin. not sure if an lp can reduce strokes....
