I have been on suboxone for 3 years. I decided to quit, I quit cold turkey and haven't any for 45 days, 40 days were in withdrawal. Anways, after 40 days of withdrawal (45 days clean), I was still feeling like c**p, altough not as bad as when I first quit (residual withdrawals maybe). Anways, I relapsed, what i'm wondering is if i'm back at square 1 because of the relapse? like if don't do anymore except for this one relapse, will it be like how it was on day 1 when I first started to quit and have to start over and repeat the whole process.

ps- although I don't believe this matters because no matter what dose I quit at the withdrawals are still the same, when I quit originally I was on 12mg, my relapse today was 4mg.

i have known people to quit cold turkey then relapse and quit again..what ive noticed is that the ones that have relapsed just the one time have certainly had withdrawl symptoms for a few days but that was all! now if you continue to relapse and then try to quit again, its possible you start at square one and deal with withdrawls longer!
