Please help me . What is the meaning of this...there are questionable opecities in the right upper lobe. Rest of the lung fields are clear.
Heart is not enlarge. Rest of the included structures are remarkable. Thank you.

Hello there maribel,

You don’t have to panic because the apicolordotic x-ray is nothing scary and it is often requested by radiologists. This request is done because radiologist needs to have a better view of an abnormality which they first saw on the postero-anterior chest x-ray.

This doesn’t mean that you have cancer or something like that so try to relax. In most cases this is a consequence of some foreign object or dust, I am sure that you have been instructed to remove all your jewelry before the test, but sometimes people forget.

Of course there is one more option. If you have been diagnosed with pneumonia earlier in your life it could happen that this is scar from it.
