I woke up yesterday morning with sharp pain in my stomache...then very bad diarrhea with more sharp pains and sweating all over. Has anyone else had this before? We are trying to conceive and I wonder if it is a sign of a possible miscarriage. Help!!

That use to happen to me all the time when I was pregnant! I think it was because I would eat something that didn't agree with my growing baby. I would wake up in the middle of the night and have stomach pain diarrhea, and I would feel nauseas. I think u'll be fine, but you should ask ur doctor anyway!

Hi,
The thing is that almost everybody from time to time feels pain in the stomach. Usually it is nothing serious and it goes away after some time without any treatment necessary. However your diarrhea is the thing that is making your stomach pain more complicated. Do you have cramps in your stomach? Do you feel bloated in any way? Usually diarrhea has no connection with miscarriage but it may show that something is not functioning correctly in your body. Are you using any kind of medication or fertility treatment? Sometimes this is only caused by the food so if you changed your food in any way try to avoid it and you will be better in day or two.
All the best,
Danella
