in February this year i had a seizure in my sleep.  i woke up with extreme pain in my back, sever headache and a bitten tongue.  when i went to my GP they said to get an EEG done.  this came back irregular with slowing in the left side of my brain.  they recommended getting an MRI done to make sure it wasn't a tumour and everything came back fine.  

after this I was sent to a Neurologist who said that i should get a sleep deprived EEG done.  one section in this report was irregular but the overall conclusion was that it was fine.  the Neurologist decided to wait and watch to see what else happened as i hadn't had another seizure.  although i had two femoral convulsions as a baby.

a few months after this i had what i think was another seizure.  i was sitting at my desk and had an overwhelming sense of panic and fear.  i had a rising felling in my stomach and can't remember what happened for about 5 to 10 minutes.  after this i was aching for a few days and had a mild headache.

i then went back to the neurologist who said she still doesn't know what is going on.  I had another sleep deprived EEG done and the results are still yet to come back.  although my Neurologist has said that it is my decision to go on tegretol if i want to.  

i am really confused and just wish that they would be able to come up with a diagonsis so that i can know for certain what is happening.

has this happened to anyone else?
