My wife and I used VCF (never again!) w.o a condom and I felt a prickling sensation while we were having sex. Stay away from nonoxonol 9 and spermicide man. What seemed like a good idea at the time turned into three days of peeing fire.

This is awful, I have used encare spermacidal inserts. Never have i felt this kind of pain. It gets better after a few minutes but then when you move or sit down the pain is so sharp. Peeing is a no no. I don't understand why these products are still on the shelves with no warning label there. First time using spermacide, also the last time. I have tried the ideas about water here, to no avail. My pain goes right to the base of my penis. I'm reluctant to go to the Dr as I am on holiday for a month in the USA from the UK.

I think the trojan spermicide gave me a uti and prostate infection. Prob killed good bacteria in my urethra and rlthe bad took over. Lasted for weeks, awful flu like symptoms...abx helped some...still fighting with herbs and diet

I had the same feeling from this condom and it really hurt. The thing is it never did this before for me but when I mentioned it to my girlfriend. She said she had the same feeling. So it doesn't just affect guys but also girls too. I did my research and found that the spermicide chemical can lead to genital cancer for both men and women and increase the chance of STDs so definitely don't use the spermicide condoms. What I did after reading this thread was drink like 2 bottles of water and showering right away. I first cleaned myself and then when all the soap was gone I flushed my urethra with cool water. This definetely helped me a ton. My pain is gone but the memory will haunt me forever.

Chronic masterbation or too much sex will irritate you penis and leave your body depleted you have to give your body some time to rest because when depleted it will have a ton of symptoms that will leave you in pain. Add another guy to the list. My girlfriend and I had been trying out different condom brands, as neither of us are particular fans. Tonight we cracked open a box the Trojan Ultra Thin Spermicidal Lubricant. I knew something was wrong as soon as we finished. The tip was bright red and I could feel the tingling. Oh my. So I used VCF years ago with my boyfriend at the time and never had a problem. Well my fiancé and I are getting married in 4 months and I don't want to get pregnant. We never use any sort of birth control and I hate condoms so I remembered I had used these before and thought it would be fine. Well it's been about an hour since we had sex and my fiancé is like yelling at me. Tells me it feels like he's pissing razor blades and is freaking out. I actually am going through this now. I'm at the tail end of the PAIN and was wondering about suing Trojan especially during the excruciating pain passing drops of urine at a time.
