Does anyone know what else can be helpful for the "Whoosh? I have the horrible ringing in the ears, have since I can remember, Now for the past month I have had whooshing, very loud too. I went to the doctor, she leavaged the ear because she thought she saw a hair laying on the drum from a recient haircut. But now the noise is worse. She put me on antibiotics for a sinus infection, they are gone, whooshing is still in full swing. It is there 24/7 if I bend or make a sudden move it's louder than ever. I'm so over this. Any Oriental remadies?

Im trying to find out what is wrong also.I have heard my heart beating,swoosh in my right ear for around 10 years. I can't lay on my left side due to this. It is driving me crazy. I have seen a cardiologist a few years ago.No problems but still no one can tell me why I my heart beating so strong in my ear.Now I have started having frequent headaches.

If the headaches are becoming more frequent and you continue to hear the whooshing sound in your ear I would consider going to the eye doctor and having them dialate your eyes. I have recently been diagnosed with pseudotumor cerebri and started with the same symptoms you are complaining of. It may be a long shot but it is worth a try.
