This Thursday my father in law went to the doctor. He then come by our house to tell us he has cancer. He was told this by a back specialist, after having an mri. Friday, he went to a cancer center. They said until a series of test were done that he could not say it is cancer. The back doctor seem to think that the cancer is in the lower lumbar of the back and has cause his spin to start weaking. The cancer doctor said that his body in been abused by excess work and smoking. He just retired from a chemical plant. His symptoms started with what sounded like a chest cold then weezing, short of breath while talking. Now it is extreme lower back pain, chest pain and a sense of fullness, spinal decay, small lumps in the hair of the scalp. I know this doesn't sound good, but what are the common organs effected, and do you think this is cancer. If not what are his odds of beating the decaying spin.
