Ok Hello all and I need help!!!
I had my pap done a week ago, only ever been with one partner and I have a thin vaginal discharge, an itchy outside, as well as a little redness outside the vagina, it burns to pee but is not a bladder or kidney infection, the outside is red and itcy and the dischage is normal looking, just a lot of it. Internally I feel fine. On occasion I get this after sex - the itchy burning - but that is it given that he is a bit furry and I am waxed, I always though that it was 'rug burn' we do not have sex all the time. Internally I am fine and my Gyno is not the best, I am waiting for a new one as when she did the examination she said that I was 'exagerating'. I am on Jasmine, I take fiber daily, fish oil and vitamin B complex. I have goodled and searched for a clue but cannot find anything...any hints or help??? PLEASE???

I used to have that problem when I 1st started being sexually active. You didn't mention how long you've been active or w/ your partner though? If you recently started having sex then I believe it's normal for you to experience a few problems such as the ones you are having. My Dr. told me that some of us females just happen to be more sensitive and a new bacteria (your partner's) is being introduced to our vagina and so it takes time to adapt to it. For now, your vagina is probably just trying to rid itself of the bacteria and is producing annoying symptoms such as the itch and discharge. As long as your paps are normal and you maintain good hygiene before and after any type of sexual activity (and your partner too!) then you should be ok and soon your body will just get used to this and not react as much.
