I am a 45 year old male. About a month and a half ago I developed a slight clicking in my throat when I swallow. It has now escalated to a popping and grinding sensation when I swallow. It feels like its mostly on the right side of my Adams apple. My throat and mouth always feels dry. Oddly enough when I turn my head to the left and swallow it doesn't do it. Doctors are telling me its acid reflux and I was prescribed prilosec which has made me heartburn free but has done nothing for my throat. I have had a lot of stress lately. My parents both just died and I just went threw a divorce. I don't know if I should go back to the doctor and rack up more medical bills or wait it out and hope it gets better. I'm starting to freak out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
