Over the past few weeks i have had extremely odd sensations in my head. It first started with small pangs on the left side. they didnt really hurt or anything, but they felt very odd. At times my brain feels like it is burning, but not in a painful way, just very uncomfortable.
i am a semi-habitual pot smoker, going on week long binges every couple months. The odd thing is after these few days my symptomes have seemed to change. It started the first night i got high, i had the constant feeling that blood vessels in my brain were bursting. They were extremely powerful sensations followed with a heavy throbbing of my brain. I at first just thought it was an attribute of the type of weed i was smoking but now its a few days later and im now having a milder sensation of bursting blood vessels despite being completely sober. As i am typing this it feels as though my brain is twisting and contorting, but again, its not painful, just uncomfortable.
ill admit i have hypochondrial tendencies at times so this has been quite scary, im thinking of going to see a doctor about it soon but im wondering what it could possibly be.

hey guest, i know exactly what your talking about its crazy. you described exactly what ive felt when you said it felt like your brain was twisting and contorting. i told my friends one time that it felt like my brain was folding over on itself. i did partake in the same habits prior to these sensations and the only thing that i can guess is that my brain wasnt getting enough oxygen or maybe i just forgot to breathe lol idk. whatever the case it was a life changing experience the first time it happened, really scary, felt like i was going to die or something... its gotta be the oxygen thing cause the week before the intense one, i kinda fainted, or just had a really extreme version of that blackout you get when you stand up quickly.
hope some one with medical knowledge makes a response

Yes i know exactly what you guys are talking about. I'm high right now and i've been having them, i noticed they are triggered by compulsive thinking. I dont think their bad things and i think both of you will know why, either way theres nothing wrong with having an inquiring mind. I'd also be interested to hear a medically informed opinion.
