Anyone any updates? I have had these symptoms for 3 years. It first started happening after a period of heavy masturbating and sex. I had been going through tough times and found myself constantly glued to porn as a way to get away from the stress, sometimes up to 5 times a day, plus regular sex threw in.

At first my erections got hard to achieve, they would die fast the few times it did get hard. Then came the dreaded cold feeling in the tip of my penis head, which progressed to the entire penis and scrotum and I mean ice cold, it was that cold I feared tissue death and amputation.

Went to my doctors and he had a look and suggested a basic check up of urine sample, blood tests and rectal exam ( finger up the butt to check the prostate ) urine sample showed nothing and blood test. I am on self prescribed TRT and pay for my blood tests private, so I already knew my hormones were optimal. I am taking testosterone shots with HCG and arimidex and have been for 10 years since I had a hormonal imbalance in my early 20s but that's another story and off topic. Had the rectal exam and apparently it was normal.

Next up I headed to the hospital sex clinic and had a battery of STD checks and nothing showed up ( I had this done 3 times within the next 6 months) The Chinese doctor who works there got talking and he said its nerves that cause the cold symptoms and I should explore that more.. So back to my doctor again and explained the nerves. He said to first try to treat it for fungal infection as at that time I had been training hard at the gym and sweating a lot and then falling asleep in the house before getting showered and developed a case of jock itch which was treated with creams and powders but the cold lifeless penis remained.

Back again and this time got my doctor onboard about the nerves. He ordered an MRI of the pelvis and put me on amitriptyline at a low dose to help with sleep and nerve pain. The MRI came back with a couple of slight problems but apparently nothing that would effect me. This is after telling me he didn't know how to read out the MRI results! He had me lie on a bed and moved both legs out and in and said nothing to worry about... nothing to worry about!! I have an ice cube for a penis and erection problems going on nearly a year.

After more research I started finding more and more on CPPS and got into the hospital for once weekly physiotherapy sessions. The girl was really nice and it seemed to help temporally. She done all sorts of stretching of my pelvic floor muscles for a period of 2 months nd I had some relief but it didn't last and I ended up housebound then for the next 6 months. It was during this time I noticed when I am relaxed it faded and when I was anxious it was worse due to the fact anxiety makes the body tense..

What happens is somehow the pelvic floor becomes dysfunctional and aggravates the nerves or clamps them and that reduces the flow or cuts it off temporally which results in the cold weak penis. This can be caused by long distance cycling, weightlifting, prolonged sex or over masturbation and sitting at a computer all day, all these things can cause an imbalance in the pelvic floor and then the anxiety of it causes the body to tense up and that creates a boomerang effect going round in circles. Controlling the anxiety with diazepam which is also a muscle relaxer and a combination of physiotherapy and abstinence to let the nerve damage/inflammation heal and the surrounding muscles to relax and loosen up is possibly the best form of attack. Also staying on the feet more and not sitting might help until its fixed.

One other thing, I have read about DHT blockers and these also are known to cause the cold penis. drugs like finasteride and even the herb Saw Palmetto, so stay well away from these. In 3 years of research I have done trying to find a cure this problem mostly surfaces on Finasteride and penis enlargement sites through google search's. Whatever is going on wither it be CPPS, injury, nerve damage, nerve entrapment, drug induced... The hunt goes on! ..

Ive been getting cold on the tip of my penis and cold feeling near my anus this is been going on for a week now and yes i eat spicy foods but this feels like it all started when i had surgery and they stuck a tube down my penis and when i ejaculate it feels funny

You can prob drink sour beer that is made with probiotics like lacto et al. The second stage of the brewing wipes out all the yeast thanks to the friendly bacteria. It's also delicious IMO, haven't met a sour beer I didn't like. Sour Monkey is a popular one around here.

I agree with you. I have been having this issue as well and currently still happens on and off. One thing is for sure and that is i have found that there is a muscle in the butt that is always tense. When i say butt its not the over all butt muscle that we think it is. It is a thin and long piece of muscle that runs from the inner crack of your butt from the top down. If youre to putt some pressure in that area you will feel that it is a tense muscle. Now i believe im having it due to two factors. One is over mental stress and secondly though i do hit the gym alot i normally concentrate on upper body. Due to that i believe my upper body is getting heavier and perhaps my weaker lower body and core is having a hard time supporting and thus overusing certain muscles in the rear. My home is also 4 storey high and in many occasions i had to carry my 3 year old son up the flight of stairs often which adds to my upper body weight.
