Hi everybody. I took 30 mg IR adderall once daily and never had any problems during my pregnancy. I stopped taking it around 3 weeks before my due date & my child was born without any issues at all. He is 1 now, has met all milestones, is well behaved, and healthy as can be. He was also born a day before his due date at 8lb 15 oz, so obviously no effects on weight gain or premature birth as a side effect of taking my medication. Just wanted to put this out there for those trying to make a decision. I remember running through the Internet trying to make my mind up on whether or not to take my meds and I ended up having to. Of course I always felt guilty but I'm happy my son is healthy and was unaffected! 

Also let me add that you do need doctor approval or they need to know that you are taking it. Because as with any med they need to monitor baby more closely, make sure BP is controlled, and everything is going as it should.
