So I had my tonsillectomy in February of 2013. Ever since I have been having difficulty swallowing as food gets stuck in the 2 post surgical "holes". The original ENT consultant performed another surgery to repair the issue in 2015. But the problem prevails. After meeting up with 2 further ENT consultants neither of them have encountered the situation before. So one of them suggested using fillers to even out the surface but that may cause further problems with my swallowing. And the other consultant feels like going in and changing the entire anatomy by cutting out the outer hole pocket (?) and lasering back the remaining tissue to create a smooth surface which will mean learning how to swallow all over again.

Has anyone had any experience of this and what treatment have you used?
