Since I'm allergic to all antibiotics and steroids whenever I get hives or a rash from a drug, try using "Gold Bond" medicated powder. It is sold over the counter pretty much everywhere. I had read a post some time ago on another site, looking to find relief from my crazy itching and ran across a girl stating that her Grandmother told her to use " Gold Bond" powder as it was an old remedy in her family for the hives and itching. Last night @ 1:30am I woke up with hives started my Benedryl and then my Gold Bond. Hope this might help you all out there suffering from the hives. Just use a bunch of the powder everywhere you itch on the outside of your body and see if it helps.
