Hello, my name is Kyle, I am 16 years old. 1 week ago I had surgery to remove a kidney stone where they went up through the penis with a rod to crush it up. They placed a stint in me and too it out today, one week after surgery. However, now I am not ejaculating as much as I usually do! I still have an orgasm but I am not ejaculating as much and I am very concerned. I did it once with stint in which is one time in the past week which is not normal I usually do it more but I figured it had something to do with the stint, but now that the stint it gone I tried and I still am not producing very much! I am as I said only 16 and I am very concerned, please any advice will be appreciated. Please help!

Hi Parks,

It is very likely a result of the stent.  It goes through your penis, into your prostate, and up into the bladder.  During the procedure they likely inserted the "rod" even further, into the ureters.

In short, everything has undergone trauma.  Remember, the sperm is made in the testicles but the prostate produces most of your semen.  There is a chance some of your ejaculate went into the bladder, a form of "retrograde ejaculation" due to the stent.

You just need some time to recover and you should be good to go.

You won't hurt anything by masturbating.

Over a year ago, this very thing has happened to me. I mean, lets be frank- if theres a topic about ANYTHING- a quick search in the old trusty computer always does the trick. Exceptions to every rule, as this is a very difficult find and I've covered a lot of ground.

Well, I'm still not producting (even close) to the pre-operation amount.....most is just clear and was not the case at all before. Seems like if I'm sitting down I can get a little more out (at least with some color) but it still has the consistency of almost water.

Blockage I'm thinking? I haven't gone in to get a follow up- doubt I will anytime soon....just looking for some ideas and even moreso, just asking if this is indeed a rare occurance?

I too had a kidney stone removal, my stone was lazed. And a stent placed for a week. Of to which my doctor had me remove at home 5 days later. For the first two weeks during sex with my fiancé I would orgasm but nothing would produce. Now a month and a week removed I orgasm, it seems to be only the seminal fluid with no sperm. It is only clear fluids and not the usual look of the mixed semen/sperm. I am very worried either the 8mm X 8mm stone caused irreparable damage to me, or my something in my procedure went wrong that either wasn’t noticed or was and I’m not being told.
