I had surgery on my kidney to re attach the tubes because they were partially blocked about a month ago. I get the stent out in 2 weeks. How much is this going to hurt?

Hopefully you are doing well.  I am a female who underwent a surgery last week as a stone was found in my ureter.  During the surgery a kidney stent with a string was placed for 1 week to heal the ureter.  The first few days with the stent were very painful and I had severe pain in my kidney area when I went to empty the bladder.  This discomfort was reduced after a few days. Yesterday I got the the stent removed.  I was very scared but actually i felt no pain or discomfort when the stent was taken out at the drs office.  Just a slight scratchy feeling similar to when you quickly pull off a band-aid...in fact even much less than that.  I did take vicodin and drank alot of water prior to this visit.  It took the nurse barely 2 seconds and it was a big relief.  After one day I am still feeling fine, no pain, no blood in urine (touch wood!!).
