i am having the same issue! i tried web md, and the googly, but this was the only relevant thing that came up. mine is from about 2 inches below my right rib, down and into the center. like if you line your thumb up with the ribs, its right underneath. its just so weird! i know a little about anatomy and stuff, but this just makes no sense. it feels like there is something in there!

I find this link when google searching... because I am having upper right movement too. It is happeneing all the time!! I thought it was gas, but I know gas will move down the intestinal tract, not stay in the same place for 2 days! Muscle spasm? If someone found out what this is, please reply. Otherwise, if I go to my doc and find out, I'll let you know!

Ive been searching for anything and everything that could possibly explain these feelings Ive been having as well. So far, Ive only found this forum where there are many more questions than answers. I notice most people state their issues are happening on their right side. I however, have been experiencing it on my left side.. just under my ribs. It is a rolling and fluttering sensation.... no real pain to speak of.. more of an annoyance. It is concerning to me though.. since I have many other health issues. I am actually afraid to bring this up since I dont exactly know how to explain it. It is a very odd sensation to say the least. I certainly hope you are all able to get some insight to ease your concern!

The same thing happening to me but in my case i went to the ER and as usual they did a pregnancy test wich it was stupid because i had told them that i had 2 already and the where negative plus i had my surgery to not have anymore kids. Well without anything else they just gave me a prescreption for constipation wich i dont have. But i still took some of those pills and like i said nothing happen the movements still there. If someone finds out it will be a pleasure just to know what this is and now i know im not the only one and that im not crazy.

I also have this movement on my abdomen, on my upper right. Like a feeling of someone touching your skin (i can feel it without even wearing shirt, so it's not my shirt). It's like your meat in that area is folded, but it's not. Do you know what I mean?
I'm a male, and it's driving me nuts. The first time I felt this it made me dizzy, maybe due to anxiety. I have Gerd, PVC's and a lot of Anxiety. Maybe related, but I don't know. Some friends say it's like air trapped inside that area of our body. I really am scared, I don't know if its my Liver, Gall Bladder, Pancreas, i want to have some peace of mind.
Sometimes i believe that doctors don't really know alot about the human body. There are just alot of things they can't explain. Stuff they don't know arrives them to a conclusion of anxiety. What?!!!!
Anyway, can someone really tell what's happening to our bodies. But, I'm afraid of going to the doctor because of hearing the same thing and undergoing that battery of tests again (just had February this year these tests and came back normal Ultrasound of liver, pancreas, gall bladder(with polyps), kidneys: Stress tests, Holter Monitor, 2D echo, alot of Blood test, Thyroid tests: Endoscopy.

I can't believe I found other people who are describing the same thing I have been experiencing! It does feel exactly like my pregnancies except that I am positive I am not pregnant. Any time I am sitting or laying down it feels like something is moving and bumping around under my left rib...I'm going to the doctor tomorrow. Hopefully he will have some thoughts on the matter.

I am going through the exact same thing as well... I had an ultrasound and everything appears fine. My doctor is kind of blowing it off but Im sooo freaked out.. If anyone gets any results please post... Im not letting it go either.. This has been going on for over a month now.

Well, I am sad to find so many others with the same problem and no resolution. Hopefully if one of you find out what this is you please remember the rest of us still hoping for the answer. i have had this too it just started this morning. i thought it was just a mucele twiching but it got worse and more frequent and is now a bigger area. so i fellt around where it was and i can sorta fell a bumb but not much. its really anoinng.i am 18 and i am not pregnet has i am a virgan so what can it be????

I went to the doctor back in January for the same types of movement. I know that I can't be pregnant, but it feels just like when I was pregnant. I feel it under my right ribs, left ribs and left lower abdominal area, in my back, and also right in the center under my stomach. It makes me crazy, too! I still feel the movement on a daily basis. What I was told back in January was that it was probably adhesions due to abdominal surgeries, but there is no pain. The information that I have found on adhesions is that they usually are painful. I thought maybe it could be gas, but it feels different than gas bubbles. I have also thought that maybe it could be muscle spasms. If so, I really have a lot! Glad to see that I am not the only one that this happens to.

i am also having a rolling sensation in my stomach. its starts at the top middle by my ribs and rolls down. the a few hours later it rolls back up. It really scared me the first time it happened. I hope i am not pregnant in any way. Im 25 and engaged but we are in no way prepared for a baby at this point. Is there anyone who has received any information about this. I joked about it for a while. but now im starting to get worried bout what it might be.

I just started feeling this strange rolling movement underneath my rib cage/upper right side abdominal area too! I took a pregnancy test and it was negative, and I know I coudln't be pregnant. What is this?? It does not really hurt, but I can feel the movement, kneading/rolling up and down on my upper right side. I feel it more when I am slouching sitting in a chair....very strange! I was going to go to the ER but I thought they would just do a pregnancy test and send me home since I'm not really in pain, but I am concerned. 8-|
