Uveitis- is there a natural solution?
I have uveitis. Took prednisone. That only helped a bit. Then I researched naturopathic or homeopathic treatment and found studies claiming turmeric pills ( buy them at Costco or many places) were EFFECTIVE! I’ve been taking them for three months and “see” an improvement in my vision. The flickering ovals are diminishing and I can take brighter lights more all the time. The visual snow effect is lessening. I am very pleased with the result of a natural product. Methotrexate was the doctor’s next course of treatment. I’m

I’m adding more info to my post: Since I’ve read other having success in clearing up uveitis, I, too, am cutting out caffeine, gluten, sugar and dairy in my diet Plus
I’m taking Turmeric pills, Vit C and E, Vitalux for vision pills, ( blueberries and flaxseed, too, thrown in the mix!)
I found the Turmeric helped with inflammation in an old injury ( arthritis?) so I’m hoping it’s taking the inflammation from uveitis out of my eyes!
I’ll keep you posted if my eyesight improves!!! Thank you to all for sharing their successful treatments. It is awful to live with this uveitis!

My daughter been gluten free for several years. She went sugar free months ago. She has uveitis that hasn't turned in cystoid macular edema. She's lost vision in her eye. Again she's been gluten free for years. She's been on oral and eye drop steroids.

I had similiar condition now like wye inflammation ,redness and light sensitivity.
Now I am on steroids eye drop.
