Thank you everyone I started freaking out I had my biopsy done about 3 days ago and I had sex and saw some of the grayish stuff on my partner and started freaking out but the amount of blood is concerning. We had sex the same day but I didn't bleed like I did today is that normal?

So grateful for this forum!!!! I was having a complete meltdown at work. Wet paper consistency and orange colored. So glad I'm not alone but I wish my Dr would have given me a heads up.

So I just had this procedure done and my doctor put a tampon in to put the bandaid stuff on. She told me to take the tampon out before bedtime. I go to try to take it out and it's stuck... please tell me I'm not the only one, and please tell me how to get this stupid thing out! It feels stuck with all the dried out yuckiness inside. I tried so many things and it won't come out...

I had this colpo done for the first time four days ago. Reading these posts made me feel so much better and I laughed as well how some described what's going on in there. Thank you.

Yes thanks Heaven that you shared yr experiences here. I started to have this few days after the colposcopy, and 1 month after had almost a palm size piece coming out. Total shock! And yes, my Doc didn t mentioned about, so I read here. Not to mention the urinary and vaginitis I struggle with for months after each gyneco check. I used finished the strongest internal ovules and now I arrived to coconut oil tampons, essential oil massages eliminating completely the sugar and still not much results. Anyway take good care!

Women should talk about this more then we wouldn't freak out. I've been telling everyone all the gorey details haha
I have noticed some ladies talking about tampons and sex before/after the procedure. That should be a big no no, for your own health and your partner's. Not very hygienic for either 2 days before and several days after.
Luckily my Doctors were pretty clear on what would happen just didn't picture it like this.

I just had the same thing happen to me today, the skin was really cool, after I stopped freaking out about it. I'm an physiology and anatomy girl. Anyway, I noticed after a self exam earlier to make sure there's not anything else waiting to jump out lol, that my cervix is swollen, the entire area is this weird combo of rough skin, with a not so smooth liquid around it. I know my body very well, so it's super weird to feel that. I think the vinegar solution really should be reconsidered, that screws up a lot of the natural biosphere going on and I know we are all in the same dry and raw boat with no relief. Maybe one of us here will think of a better solution. Or at least a graphic artist design a better take home pamphlet! This is our time ladies, to be bold and share knowledge with each other. Here's to healing!

4 days out of 2 biopsies and yes, I also retain a smell. I was I formed of nothing during the procedure and was givent no verbal aftercare or pamphlets to take. I was warned that the stuff they put on to stop the bleeding would come out like coffee grounds but it was just yellow in my pad. Starting Thurs. I started passing the "gross clumps " and todays was even larger than yesterday. It's a strange smell and I have pressure in my abdomen and am uncomfortable. I will not be going back to and OBGYN who's attitude and personality is ands sterile and ss the instruments she used to cut on me with. The whole thing is awful. I was given no pain meds and no numbing medicine.

In my research, I have also read no douching for one week at least after colposcopy. I would suggest waiting to do another until that time. Let your body do its thing
