does anyone no if u can get a veneral disease if uve had a hysterectomy. you have no uterus can u still get one?

OH yes of course you can..Venerial disease affects the vagina AND also sometimes the uterus.. BUT ALL STD'S can be contracted without a uterus..
So yes you should practice safe sex..

I have asked my neighbour about this as she has done a hysterectomy a few years ago and she said that you actually can get some STD, some of them are excluded but you can also be a carrier.
She said that Chlamydia and Gonorrhea are less of a risk. On the other hand, if contracted after a Hysterectomy, they don't cause any symptoms and the woman becomes an assymptomatic carrier.
I think the best answer on this question only your doctor is able to give you!
What I know about the result of the hysterectomy is having a sex freely and not thinking of the possible pregnancy. But sometimes, women can even lose their sex drive.
