Hi! Three months ago i had sex with my boyfriend, i was on the pill, although it was just after my period before i had taken many active pills, plus i had missed a pill. In the three months since then i stayed on the pill and have had 3 normal regular periods. 8 weeks ago i came off the pill and have not had a period since. My stomach also seems swolen compared to usual, although i have not eaten differently or put on weight anywhere else, and I have also been sick a few times recently. I did a home pregnancy test and it was negative. it wouldn't be wrong after three months would it? I'm just worried as there is stil no sign of my period. Is this just a result of comming off of the pill of could i be pregnant? Please help...any suggestions?

It is not likly that you are pregnant if you has intercourse while you were on birth control, and its been 3 months..Im going through the same thing right now, I had my IUD removed the first week of Jan and im still waiting on my period to return...I went back to my obgyn and she said that if I hadnt started back up in about 3 weeks to go back in and see her..She would do a check to see if there are cysts or something else that could be causing my period not to come back. They can also prescribe something that can start my periods back up again...Maybe this is the same situtaion for you, since its not pregnancy.....I would suggest going to talk to your obgyn and see what she says, I wont know anything else for about a week or so on mine end...Keep me posted if you find out anything before I do and I will you....Good Luck...
