For about two years now, I have suffered from weekly vomitting. This happens almost like 7 days apart each time. Each time this occurs at night when I lay down to go to sleep. Before I have the vomitting, I painful hiccups. I have been going to a gastroenterologists who prescribed me with Nexium and Raglan. Neither of which has worked. I recently had the Nissen Fundiplocation surgery and this has not helped with the symptoms. When I have the symptons, I will usually vomit 4 to 5 times during the night and continue to have the hiccups. The next day I usually don't want to eat and have a headache the entire day. I have lost about 30 lbs during this two year period as well. Any ideas of what the problem is? I have had two upper esphogas scopes, an upper GI, the BRAVO test, and manometry. The only conclusion is that my esphogas does not constrict like it should during swallowing.
