I have had a test done for H.Pylori, came out negative. Had an upper GI test done, came out negative. Was in the military and getting out too soon for further testing to be done. They wanted to next schedule me for an endoscopy. They had me try every heartburn medication possible to include had me on the prescription Nexium of 80mg a day. And nothing works! Still would be throwing up so bad from eating any of the below items that I sometimes would end up in the ER so I didn't have to go to work I felt so miserable. They told me I had GERD......but then again they weren't even real Dr.'s just Physician Assistants.

My scenario is this: every time I eat anything with tomatoes, ketchup, bbq, taco seasoning (any tomato product), lemon, lime, orange (citrus).....sometimes even really fatty fried or fast foods I end up with at the very least extreme heart burn that when I lay down at night I feel the acid rising into my mouth. I have been told elevate my bed and get a larger pillow....but only helps so much. I also follow the not eating 3 hours before bed, but still wake up with a slight upset stomach at least. I am not vomiting every morning.....It just seems to happen at random it seems, the worst cases of it that is. Once every couple months sometimes....or even once a week at times. And I always have diarrhea at the same time and having to vomit at least 4 times to the point of feeling weak and dehydrated.

Ways I have only recently been using to help are drinking milk (seems to soothe), or eating crackers or bread to soak up the stomach acid. Sometimes it helps and sometimes it seems to late.....usually when it is too late I belch the nastiest smell that makes me really want to vomit. At that point usually, there is no going back.

I keep thinking I may just have Irritable Bowel Syndrome, but really it seems like both GERD and that.

Being I am out of the military and not having any health insurance along with the lack of money, my options are now limited....

Any ideas what it may be or what I should do to help?
