My sister in law fell into a chair a year ago and developed a wound that still has not healed.  She has been to several doctors.  She has also experienced allergic reactions to meds they have used.  She finally saw a vascular surgeon who said she wasn't getting circulation to the wound and put in a stint.  She has since had bipass surgery on her leg.  Her would is about the size of a quarter now and another one has developed.  She does suffer from arthritis but is not diabetic.  Since the suregery, her leg is swollen, bright red and weeping fluid to the point if she stands still on one spot very long, she leaves a wet footprint on the floor.  She can't wear shoes because her foot is so swollen and they get soaked with the fluid.  She sees the dr weekly and yesterday, they took out a few staples and told her to go home but gave her no explanation as to why its weeping so badly.  Any suggestions as to what is causing this?
