I had tonsillectomy some years back when i was age 15, but i noticed that 2 months after the operation i started complaining about shoulder pain. My doctor stated it had nothing to do with the operation. Apart from the shoulder pain i suddenly increased in size really gained weight massively and i noticed that i became very sluggish for about 1 to 2 months after the operation. My question is do people experience weight gain and sluggishness after tonsillectomy and what causes the weight gain, could such weight gain trigger some other problems in the body?
